Engagement and payment
Projects begin after a written scope (package or custom quote) and a 50 percent advance. The remaining 50 percent is due at completion, before the website goes live or final files are handed over. Monthly plans are billed at the start of each month and can be cancelled any time with effect from the next month; no long-term lock-ins.
Delivery and revisions
Delivery dates are stated in writing per project. If we miss a date for reasons on our side, the client receives 10 percent of the project fee back per week of delay. Packages include two revision rounds at the design stage; further rounds are quoted honestly before work continues. Delays caused by missing client content or approvals pause the clock.
Ownership
On full payment, the client owns their website: code, content and design. Domains and hosting are registered in the client's name from the start. Codekaar retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
Guarantees
Our speed guarantee (sub 2 second load, 90+ mobile PageSpeed at handover) and delivery guarantee are honored as written in the project agreement. Rankings, traffic and revenue depend on markets we don't control; we commit to the work and transparent reporting, never to specific ranking positions.
Content and conduct
Clients confirm they have rights to materials they provide. We decline projects involving illegal content, scams or deception. Either side may end an engagement in writing; completed work is billed proportionally and everything paid for is handed over.
Liability
Our liability on any project is limited to the fees paid for that project. We're not liable for losses from hosting outages, third-party services or events beyond our control, though we'll always help fix what's fixable.
