Karachi BBQ House: a website you can almost smell

A demonstration build showing exactly what we'd deliver to a BBQ restaurant in Karachi: appetite-first design, WhatsApp ordering front and center, and a page that loads before the craving fades.

Warm, busy restaurant dining room, the mood the Karachi BBQ House demo is built around
The Brief We Set Ourselves

The problem every Karachi restaurant shares

Karachi's food scene is brutal. A restaurant can serve the best behari kabab in the city and still lose the 9pm decision to a rival with better photos on Instagram. When hungry people search, they decide in seconds, on a phone, often on patchy 4G in traffic.

So the brief was: make the food the hero, make ordering effortless, and make it load before hunger loses patience. Everything else is decoration.

  • Zero frameworks, zero plugins
Design Decisions

Six choices that do the selling

Dark, smoky palette

Coal black and flame red put the viewer at the grill at night, when BBQ cravings actually strike. A white minimalist design would sell salad, not kabab.

Menu on the page, not a PDF

PDF menus die on mobile: slow, pinch-to-zoom, no links. Our menu is live text with prices, instantly readable and indexable by Google when someone searches "behari kabab boat basin price".

WhatsApp above everything

Karachi orders food on WhatsApp. The order button rides the nav, the hero and the closing band, each with a prefilled message so ordering takes two taps.

Copy with dhuwan in it

"Coals lit at 4pm, sold out by midnight" tells a scarcity story no stock phrase can. Food copy should be hungry work; ours reads like the smell of the grill.

Speed as a feature

No sliders, no background videos, no theme bloat. A hungry visitor on Shahrah-e-Faisal gets the full page in under a second, menu included.

Scarcity details

"Limited daily" on the ribs, "gone in seconds" on the malai boti. Small honest lines that nudge the order now instead of later.

Measured Results

The numbers this build ships with

This is a demonstration build, so we quote the engineering numbers we measured, not invented sales figures. When a real restaurant takes this live, revenue metrics join this table.
